About Golden Tote
Golden Tote is a unique styling service. Each month we introduce new products in the form of three different pricing options (totes). The Mini Tote contains 2 clothing items; one you pick and one our stylist pick for you for $59 (+$6.95 shipping); The Surprise Tote contains 3 clothing items; all three are picked my our stylists based on your style profile for $89 (+$6.95 shipping); The Golden Tote (most popular) contains 5 clothing items; you pick two and our stylist picks an additional 3 items all based on your style profile for $149 and FREE SHIPPING).
Depending on the tote, you can customize part of your tote by choosing some items and our stylists choose the rest based on your style profile. All of the items shown represent all of the styles we have in stock (with some exceptions). So an item that you choose could be an item that is a surprise to someone else. After you choose your tote, choose your items (or leave it up to us when you order a Surprise Tote), you fill out your style profile and add-on any additional items at a reduced cost.
Golden Tote is NOT a subscription. You can choose to buy a tote whenever you wish. We do NOT auto-bill you or auto-ship you. There is NO additional fee to the tote price. The tote price includes all of the clothing and you will not be charged more. We allow returns and exchanges. Please see more info on our returns/exchanges sections.
Due to the personal styling process, we do our best to ship your order from within two weeks from the day you purchased you’re order. We will continue that shipping calendar throughout the month. Please note, if you pay extra for overnight or 2-day shipping, this does NOT mean we will ship out your order one or two days you order, but one or two days from the day it leaves our facility. We ship via USPS from California shipping either Priority Mail or First Class Mail, depending on the weight of the package. Any International orders, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Apo, Guam, PO Box will be shipped via United States Postal Service.
What sizes do you carry?
At this time, we carry sizes XS-L. Our goal is to be more inclusive with our sizing and we recognize that we are leaving out an important segment of women. As we grow as a business, we will hope to carry plus sizing as well.
Do you combine orders?
Yes! If your current order has not yet shipped, any new orders you place will be combined with the current order and shipped together. And, we'll refund any additional shipping charges so that you only get charged shipping once per shipment, instead of once per order. Don't want to pay shipping at all? Make sure at least one of the orders in your shipment is for $149+ and the whole order ships for free within the US.
Can I change my order after it has been placed?
Please email our customer service department at [email protected] immediately if you would like to change your order. Please keep in mind once your order is shipped we can no longer make changes.
How do I track my order?
You will receive a USPS tracking number once your order being processed.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
We ship orders on a weekly basis. Your order will ship within two weeks from the date on which it was placed. We will continue that shipping calendar throughout the month. Please note, if you pay extra for overnight or 2-day shipping, this does NOT mean we will ship out your order one or two days after we receive your order, but one or two days according to our shipping calendar.
Can I rush my order?

I haven't received my items yet. What do I do?
You can check on the status of your order by tracking your package through USPS website or emailing customer service at [email protected] . You can also login to your account on our website to see this information.
What is your shipping charge?
Flat rate standard shipping within the US is $6.95. We ship using USPS for standard shipping. Shipping is free on US orders of $149 or more and International orders are a $30 flat rate. We also offer expedited shipping to US customers for a flat rate of $20.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes, we offer international flat rate shipping for a flat $30 fee. Customer is responsible for customs and duties.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Yes, via USPS
What types of payment do you accept?
Golden Tote, LLC accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept PayPal. We do not accept pre- paid gift cards, personal checks or money orders.
Does Golden Tote charge sales tax?
Residents shipping to addresses within California are subject to California sales tax. Residents outside of California are not subject to sales tax.
Our commitment to stop over-packaging:
Golden Tote clothing will be shipped in a re-usable and recycleable poly mailer without and other packaging such as poly bags or tissue paper. Previously, we shipped orders in a custom tote bag, but due to the the unsustainability for both our business operations and the environment, we have discontinued them as of July 25th, 2019.
